Our Purpose
The purpose of this site is to make it easier for businesses and individuals that provide a service to the Pocatello community get their message to the local population in an affordable and efficient medium.
Not everyone gets the local newspaper, so this site is meant to reach every citizen in and out of the Pocatello and Chubbuck area. Everyone has access to the Internet at free locations like the library, and the Internet can be used in conjunction with other forms of marketing and advertising.
The cost for advertisers is simple.

Just go to our add business page, and put your business in our searchable database of local Pocatello and Chubbuck businesses! As soon as we approve your entry, you’ll be on the site!
One website page where you control your message – $150
If you would like more than a mention on the site, we can create a specific page for you on this site for $150 a year (set charges may apply). The address for this page would be http://www.buypocatello.com/yourbusinessname
and can be used on all your marketing and advertising materials as a website address.
For an additional $25 a year, you can get an email address with your name or business name, such as yourbusinessname@buypocatello.com to further cement the connection between your business and this site. This email address is accessible at www.buypocatello.com/webmail or can also be forwarded to your personal email address.
A full website of up to 10 pages for all the facets of your business – $500
If you want to go the next step, we can provide a complete website of up to 5 pages for $500. This site will include navigation to each of your pages, free of advertising of any other business, with the choice of either your unique domain name (registration fee of $10 a year may apply) or you can use an address such as http://www.buypocatello.com/yourbusinessname at no additional charge. Any custom graphics may have an additional charge, depending on your needs.
This package also includes 5 email addresses with specific names of either personnel or departments, depending on your needs (subject to name availability, a name like “sales@buypocatello.com may already be taken. We would recommend getting your own unique domain name to allow for any email names you wish.).
